Providing home delivery services to the following communities: Ashland Heights, Belle Fourche, Bethlehem, Bison, Black Gap, Black Hawk, Box Elder, Buffalo Gap, Caputa, Colonial Pine Hills, Country Corner, Crook City, Custer, Dupree, Edgemont, Ellsworth AFB, Faith, Farmingdale, Hill City, Hisega, Hot Springs, Isabel, Johnson Siding, Keystone, Lemmon, Newell, New Underwood, Nisland, Piedmont, Rapid City, Rockerville, Silver City, Sturgis, Summerset, Tilford, Timberlake, Vale, Wall, and Whitewood.
A senior nutrition program which provides a noon meal each weekday to individuals aged 60 or more. Home delivered meals are available for those who are homebound due to illness or frailty.
Each meal meets specific criteria for nutritional content, providing the consumer with 1/3 of his/her daily nutrient needs.
Meals are available for anyone aged 60 or more without regard to income status. A limited amount of federal funding is available to defray the cost of each meal. Participants donate toward the remaining cost of the meal. Others who may be eligible are those who live in congregate facilities where a congregate meal site exists or those who live with a guardian who eats with Senior Meals.
Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. We accept self-payment and free will donation.
