Description:
A senior services program that helps the frail elderly remain in their homes by providing light housekeeping, minor home repair, yard work, and transportation for medical appointments and grocery shopping.
Eligible persons must be 60 or older with low to moderate income who are not physically able to do the work themselves and do not have family available to help with the services needed. Call for detailed eligibility requirements.
Volunteers provide the services under the direction of the Workers on Wheels (WOW) staff. There is no charge but individuals are asked to pay for any supplies needed to complete a project.
