Description:
Sanford Hospice strives to enhance quality of life when a cure is no longer the focus. Our hospice nurses are experienced in pain management and work to control symptoms and provide comfort. Registered nurses, social workers, clergy, volunteers, and home health aids come to wherever the patient resides.
We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to both the patient and family. Our hospice professionals will help guide the patient and family through the end of life processes; teach care giving skills, honestly answers questions, and provide support however it is needed.
Hospice care is available for end of life patients whose physicians have determined there is likely a life expectancy of 6 months or less. All ages are eligible. Hospice is a benefit of Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Administration, and most private pay insurance companies.
