LSS offers two primary programs in the Brookings office: The Center for Financial Resources and Counseling Services.
- The Center for Financial Resources provides financial counseling and education. Whether you are looking to get your finances back on track, improve your money management skills or sort out your unique financial priorities – we have the tools, tips and expertise to get you there.
Services include: Consumer Credit Counseling Service, Housing Resource Center, Sharpen Your Financial Focus, and the Financial Fitness education series.
- Counseling Services offers individual, family and group counseling services. At some point, every individual, couple, or family experiences difficulty, faces a time of change, or seeks an opportunity to grow. Whether it is dealing with the loss of a loved one, improving family communication, or promoting health and wellness in the workplace, the support of caring professional therapists can help.
LSS offers a sliding fee scale and accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most major insurances.
