AseraCare Hospice Services provides comfort and support services to people who are terminally ill. It helps them live out the time they have remaining to the fullest extent possible. Our services are provided anywhere a patient might reside. We are a specially trained team of doctors, registered nurses, nurse assistants, social workers, spiritual care providers, bereavement counselors and volunteers. We care and support the patient's physical needs as well as the patient and family's emotional, social, and spiritual needs. As well as individualized personal care, our home hospice team can also provide medication, counseling, equipment, and supplies for the terminally ill. We will work with you and plan specifically to best serve you and improve your quality of life.We offer a program of care and support that you may want to consider if you or someone you care for is terminally ill.
Anyone who is approaching end of life and no longer wants aggressive medical care but still wants healthcare and a support team is eligible. Hospice doesn't shorten or prolong life. Your doctor must agree you need this service. Your hospice services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, other insurances, and/or other funding. We accept any patient who needs our support who is 18 years old or older.
