Home Delivered Meals (also known as Meals on Wheels) are delivered by volunteers every Monday through Friday starting at 11:00am - contact Amy the site manager to arrange. Frozen meal packs may also be available.
Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership, Inc - ICAP 60s Plus Dining is a senior nutrition program which provides a noon meal each weekday to individuals aged 60 and older. Meals are served in a group setting for those who are able to attend. Home delivered meals are available for those who are home-bound due to illness or frailty. Each meal meets specific criteria for nutritional content, providing the consumer with 1/3 of his/her daily nutrient needs.
Meals are available for anyone aged 60 or older without regard to income status. A limited amount of federal funding is available to defray the cost of each meal. Participants donate toward the remaining cost of the meal. Self payment and free will donation accepted.
