Description:
Watertown Housing Authority owns, manages and administers a five story, 60 unit elderly/disabled High-rise for all eligible applicants. All units are one-bedroom except for 4, two-bedrooms. Monthly rent is calculated according to applicant's adjusted income. (Rents are 30% of adjusted income and include all utilities).
A resident advocate is on staff for residents to provide activities, individual help, counseling, etc. Combined with the HiRise, there are twenty-five low income individual houses located within Watertown. Applicants must be income eligible and rent is calculated according to the family's adjusted income. Section 8 Rental Assistance Voucher program within the county of Codington is available.
Eligibility Requirements: HiRise - Elderly and disabled. Income limits according to family size. Medical expenses are used as deductions.
