Emergency Assistance with rent, utilities, burials, medication, and medical bills. The Lincoln County Human Services Office provides the support to insure the survival of indigent clients who are county residents or transients. Services which are available include: assistance with rent, food, utility bills, laundry, clothing, transportation, burials, non-food items, dental bills, medical bills, and hospital bills. The office also assists individuals with locating alternative resources and referrals to other agencies. In addition, the county maintains emergency on-call services through the 211 HELPLINE. County assistance is provided only when resources have been exhausted. The after hours emergency number is 211 HELPLINE. Eligibility Requirements: Adults - income based.
