Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership, Inc - ICAP 60s Plus Dining is a senior nutrition program which provides a noon meal each weekday to individuals aged 60 and older. Meals are served in a congregate setting for those who are able to attend. Home delivered meals are available for those who are homebound due to illness or frailty. Each meal meets specific criteria for nutritional content, providing the consumer with 1/3 of his/her daily nutrient needs. Meals are available for anyone aged 60 or older without regard to income status.
A limited amount of federal funding is available to defray the cost of each meal. Participants donate toward the remaining cost of the meal. Self payment and free will donation of $4/meal is accepted.
