Brookings Health System Hospice Agency provides medical care to maximize comfort and quality of life for patients facing terminal illnesses. We provide pain management, emotional support, help with family caregiving and spiritual care to patients and their families when a cure is not possible. Hospice care takes place anywhere a patient might reside which includes a variety of settings.
We have been Medicare-Certified since 1995. To qualify for hospice services, a physician must certify that the patient is terminally ill, with a life expectancy of 6 months or less.
We accept self-payment, insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and Veterans Administration. We serve Brookings county and surrounding areas in SD up to a 30 mile radius of Brookings.
