Established in 1968, Capital Area Counseling Service, Inc. (CACS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency, which primarily provides mental health and addiction services to residents in central South Dakota.
Services include:
- Mental health assessment and therapy
- Psychiatric rehabilitation
- Psychiatry
- Medication management
- Nursing
- Family-based services
- Therapeutic foster care
- Addiction assessment, treatment, and continued care.
CACS has provided treatment services for nearly 1,600 youth and adults with a wide variety of diagnoses.
