Description:
** Independent Living Skills: hands-on training in important everyday skills -- from cooking to budgeting.
** Advocacy: teaching people with disabilities the skills they need to advocate for themselves.
** Peer Support: opportunities to talk, one-on-one or in a group, about life experiences.
** Information and Referral: connecting to information needed.
** Home Modification and Adaptive Devices: assisting with home modifications, such as ramps or lift chairs, and adaptive devices, such as reachers and hand controls.
** Telecommunication Adaptive Devices: providing adapted telecommunication services, such as an emergency phone dialer.
** Community Living Services: assistance in obtaining accessible, affordable housing, transportation, etc.
** ADA Education: serving as an educator for contractors or individuals in regard to ADA guidelines and their effect on accessibility.
** Assisted Daily Living Services: case management, program education and support, and personal attendant services for people 18 and older in need of assistance with daily living activities.
Most any person with significant disability of any age is eligible for our services. ADLS-All 4 limbs affected by disability and financial qualifier. Home modification-Financial Qualifier. We accept Medicaid or a donation.
