Home Health provides some medical services at home and may also be able to assist with non-medical needs related to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Hospice is a comprehensive program designed for terminally ill patients and their families. The patient must have a limited life expectancy of six months or less. A hospice team of physicians and supportive staff and volunteers assist the primary caregiver. RNs evaluate the patient's physical condition; make recommendations for pain management and other symptom control, review dietary and skin needs and other areas of concern.
