Deuel County Veterans Service Office
Description: Our office assists to advise claimants in their pursuit of benefits from the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and state agencies. Duties include studying and explaining state and federal veterans legislation, regulations and procedures, consulting with medical care providers, preparing and filing veterans benefit claims, and consulting with other government agencies to ensure veterans are receiving the maximum level of assistance and benefits to which they are entitled.

Good Samaritan Society, Hidewood Estates Apartments
Description: Hidewood Estates provides independent senior housing for those 55 years of age and older. Enjoy the privacy of your own apartment in a Christian-based setting. We do all maintenance. All utilities except telephone are included in your monthly rent. Each apartment is equipped with call system and handicap accessible showers. We accept self-payment.

Description: 60's Plus Dining in Gary, offers Home Delivered, and Star Card options. Frozen meals are available by contacting the site manager. The only requirement for service is a birthday age of 60 or better!
Star Card menu available daily from 6:30am until 10:00pm at The Alibi. Delicious hot and nutritious Home Delivered meals go out at 11:00am, daily, with the exception of certain Holidays. Call the site manager to arrange at 605-874-2062.

Beacon Center
Description: The Beacon Center (previously Watertown Resource Center) Crisis Line is 605-886-4300. Provides assistance to men, women, and children affected by domestic violence and/or sexual assault or stalking. Services include: counseling, case management, legal and medical advocacy, financial assistance, as well as safe shelter when needed.
The Family Visitation Center (1-800-660-8014) provides supervised visitation and safe exchanges to qualifying families.
